Special guests — Carolyn and Henry Tarpey and Catalina, Eugene, Gabi and Yulia Baia!
An amazing weekend!

Carolyn and Henry came for a visit and slept over — mere strangers just months ago, we are certain we must have known each other in a past life to have this level of comfort after only meeting once before. My children didn’t want them to go home! Nor did I! But it won’t be the last time I am sure.

Today when Catalina and her family pulled up to my street, I had to catch my breath at the MIRACLE of it all. Three months ago Catalina and I had not known each other. Through the amazingness of the blogworld, I had the pleasure of watching the Baia family grow from 2 to 4. Ten days ago, Gabi and Yulia came to America! Today we all meet for the first time. To follow their journey in Kazakhstan, and then to see them on my street playing with my children, riding bikes, scooters, playing basketball, being pulled in wagons was enough to make me confirm my finger print appointment for tomorrow! (Note from Next Day: Unfortunately Officer who does prints was not in! Will try again tomorrow!)

It was a wonderful happy celebratory day where friendships were definitely forged and bonded among us all — and I’m so grateful my parents and family were able to join us today!
