Emma at 5.5 years and Eden at 2.5
Emma at almost 4 years, Eden at 11 months. I remember this moment like it was yesterday — sun coming in perfectly through their window and everyone cooperated. Time passes in the blink of an eye. Thankfully we have photos! And thankfully I have been diligent about my photo organization, though the road stretches long ahead of me. Slowly but surely, it’s coming together.
What beautiful girls you have! Those pictures are fantastic.

Your girls are so gorgeous! I found your blog on Catalina’s blog. I have read about you trying to decide to adopt and it reminds me of me and my husband. My husband has a 22 year old and we had a 3 year old bio daughter. We adopted a little girl from Kaz last June and she has lightened up our life. She is definitely our miracle child!! We have a private blog if you would like to read it email me at [email protected]

Hello all — Thank you for your comments. Yes, I did take those photos with my Canon D20 85 mm 1.2 lens. I am a photo geek with still so much to learn — but you can often catch me using my kids to to experiment. These first few were taken in my home — I was very happy with the results of a simple snap. Thank you! And Catalina, since we are neighbors, I would be honored to photograph you, Calin and your daughter upon your return.

If anyone is reading this, how/why did I get a random email on my blog from a virus protection service? Is this what happens or is my computer infected? Thanks!

That is weird! I have never seen that before….SPAM for blogger. Probably just a random person found your blog. You can change your settings to make it “not searchable” on google, etc. You can also make it so when some hits “next blog” yours will not be accessible in Bloggers public listings.
