Sleep tight

At Heather’s request ;-), these were the Restoration Hardware Baby linens I was drawn to. They match perfectly in either of the two rooms they need to be in. But of course, something else could come up by then. It’s just that when I got the catalog in the mail, I was like … ohhh, *that* was easy!

If you hadn’t already noticed, I have a tough time with decisions 😉 So when something hits me right away, I am usually very pleased and just go with my gut.

The crib doesn’t move me. It’s more functional than anything else. But it also goes with the room. And later on, it becomes a very simple toddler bed.

So that’s what I’m thinking for now.

Still a good amount of paperwork ahead of me. I wonder if I really will be done by the originally estimated end of April date. I jumped the gun with these decisions, but hopefully, they are in fact decisions, and won’t have to be made at a later time.

I recall the angst of picking out the perfect nursery items when Emma was a baby. The joy over finding what I thought were special items. The more relaxed way in which I chose things when baby Eden had shared her room with Emma. The happiness of knowing they shared the same crib. Really, such few things are needed. And in the end, these are the least of your worries 😉 Of course, it is fun to shop for stuff, to dream and to imagine the day when these things will be needed and used.
