Since I have gone out of order a bit in updating our travel to this point, please just refer back to the initial post early in this December 14, 2009 thread called We have found our boy!! And I feel thrilled!

Hello,
I have been anxiously following your journey. I too adopted my son from BH#3 in July 2005. I was wondering if I could e-mail you a couple photos that you can show the director? I would love for her to see him now.
If not, I completely understand. You obviously have a lot of things going on right now.
Happy bonding! May you have daily eye contact :o)

Emma and Eden and Brett think that boychick is adorable. Emma got beet red (and the red did not go away for a while)when I told her you had emailed and sent a picture.
Priceless!! She kept saying "I'm so excited". I spent a good part of the day wiping happy tears!!
Love & Hugs,
Grandma Marsha

Congratulations!!! Your son sounds much like my son. I'm thrilled for you. Over time you might consider asking his current and former caregivers to write him notes that he can read when he becomes older. Comments about what he was like as a baby and their hopes and dreams for him. I've done this for both of my Kaz children. They're very sweet. Again, congatulations! Susan from Austin

I just got back from a long weekend in Queens with my inlaws and wondered if you were in Brooklyn as I passed by… I am home now checking my post and I see you are in Kaz and have found your son!!!! I can barely read the letters I am typing through my tears. I am filled with so many emotions for you and I must admit, for me too. I am so happy for you all and cannot wait to finally see pictures of the boy that will complete your family!!!

It's so very exciting. What a wonderful adventure! I love your vivid descriptions of everything (and your writing gives me hope that our time is coming). Can't wait to see photos.

So wonderful to read all that you have added since yesterday. What a fantastic record/journal you will have of this experience. It will be very special for all of you. So thrilled that you are finally upon your own journey, and that all of us are here at home reading and following every word of your experience, just as you have done for so many other families.
As an update, we are most likely arriving in Almaty on the 28th and, if all goes to plan, flying back home with Nurai on the 30th. I should think you will still be in town then. Do you have a return date in mind? We have not yet decided whether we will go KLM or Lufthansa, but if you happen to be flying out on the 30th, we might try and join you.
Can't wait for photos. Big hugs.

Hello guys! I'm enjoying your catch-up posts very much. You have really captured the moments well in your words. Brings back memory after memory! It must have been so hard to leave your girls. They are just the sweetest things and I know you are so proud of them. I'm so glad you were able to visit the Anne Frank house and felt no stress or rush. Isn't the Amsterdam airport great?
I can't wait to see photos of your "Dashing Equestrian" and hear more about him! I'm so glad things are working out, and even Gary is at ease. 😉 The adoptive fathers, for some reason, always tend to have their fears more at the forefront. It's not unusual, but it all melts away just the same.
Have a wonderful time bonding with your new son and experiencing all that is Kazakhstan. Feel free to contact me if there is anything I can help you with!
Many happy hugs,
Regina, Frank and Milo
