It’s Official!! We did it!!

It’s official, we are proud parents to a son! Please see the above video. A brief synopsis of the court appointment will come later. Thank you all so much for your support as we got to this joyous day!

  26. YAY!!! Absolutely LOVED the video. What a precious way to document the journey to your son… so far. I'm sure that March 2010 won't come quickly enough in your household. Trying to wait patiently for your own homecoming video to see your son and the girls together, finally!!!!

    Aw man Steph, I am just BAWLING!! That is the best video ever. I had tears in my eyes right from the start, but the part that made me lose it was watching you spin with him. I was a goner from then on. And then of course on the photo of "our only glimpse." Beautiful video, beautiful boy, beautiful family. And of course the name is perfect! (wink) Many warm congratulations to the Karp family of five.

  48. Your family is beautiful and the giggles of your son brought tears of joy to my eye. My daughter Sadie had to come run to the computer to watch for herself.

    In response to your previous post, I really do not understand why Kaz has such a long bonding time, which I actually believe in, however, now has such delays that children and parents are separated for such long periods of times. I have wracked my brain trying to figure out how we can appeal to the Kaz gov who make the adoption laws to help them see that they are not helping these children but making it harder for all involved, inlcuding the caretakers. However it's such a sensitive subject because I am afraid it would be looked at as Greedy know it all Americans trying to interfere which would not do good but possibly make things more difficult. It's not something I will quit thinking about and maybe one day will find a way to help make a change.
