LETTER OF INVITATION TO KAZAKHSTAN HAS ARRIVED!!!

Our LOI (Letter of Invitation) has arrived!! And with shaking hands, sweaty palms and extremely sweaty pits, I announce that we are to leave in approximately 7-10 days.

I can not get a hold of Gary, he’s at a meeting and unable to answer his phone. I need to speak to himmmmmm!!!!!!

I received “The Call” at 12:53 pm today. It was Julie, our coordinator at WHAL. I thought to myself, upon seeing her number again since we had just spoken yesterday, “Something’s happening ….” These are the same words that popped into my head when my water broke with Emma’s impending birth.

There is a child waiting for us. This dream is about to become a reality sooner than my heart and brain can comprehend.

Hold on tight, little one. We’re coming!

    2 years ago today we landed in Uralsk KAZ and met Carolyn and Amanda! Halloween eve is the day we met our peanut Molly and the famous Henry (her future prom date!)

    Wishing you all a great trip and am looking forward to following along!! can't wait!!

    we had four days notice to get on the plane. . . .take a really deep breath-you can do it!!!!

    I have never left a comment here before, but I had to tell you that I think I saw you with your girls in the Frankfurt airport on Sat. on our return trip from our first adoption trip to Ust-K, Kaz. I recognized you from your blog and tried to catch you but you were too fast!! Another form of "blog stalking", crazy, huh?
    My husband thought I was crazy trying to catch you! Anyway, safe travels and best wishes. Our adoption was a success and we'll be back early Dec. to pick them up.
