I have been following your blog, and am cheering you on each step in your adoption journey! You have reason to be a bit disheartened and frustrated—you really have hit far more than your share of obstacles and delays so far, BUT you’ve been doing wonderfully well with keeping things in perspective and persevering!! You will need this same sense of looking forward and staying positive as you continue on in the journey toward holding your son in your arms. Kazakhstan adoptions are not for the faint of heart, however I am strongly convinced it is so very worth it. I saw first-hand how wonderfully my daughters were care for and loved by the fine caregivers in the Umit Detsky Dom (means Hope Baby Home in Russian) in Taraz, Kazakstan when I adopted Sara Marina (now age 5) in 2004 and Kate (now age 3) in 2006.
