I was also asked if I was pregnant by one of the little kids in my group when I was a camp counselor…I think every woman probably has a similar story!

That sort of happened to me, when I picked up one of the kids from a friend’s house, my friend looked me over, I mean, really looked me up and down and at my belly and she said “How ARE you?” She thought I was pregnant because Olivia was talking about her little brother. I had to tell her about the adoption at that point.

When I was in law school, I once had one of Adam’s board members from work come up to me and tell me that I looked pretty good considering I had just delivered a week earlier. Obviously mixing me up with someone else, but I was mortified to think that I looked like I just had a baby.

Truth be told, I am glad this was the “blow” that you were talking about. I got a little nervous that it was something with the adoption when I saw the title!
