That’s how I feel too. On the whole, I’ve never had that much fear of seizing life and going for my dreams. Why not???

I feel like that. Sometimes half jokingly my husband or I will say “these kids are killing me” but even in those moments I really feel grateful for that. I feel thankful to have healthy, energetic and demanding children who at times exhaust us. The exhausting times remind me that I want to take better care of myself and my body. I think that effect that our children have on us will actually make us live longer — and certainly fuller lives!

Hey I came here to tell you an insight that I’m having now as we’re just getting into our homestudy. I wish really badly that I had felt confident enough to spend the $2000 on the homestudy and have that totally completed and in hand BEFORE choosing and signing on with a child placing international agency. It is really bugging me to be waiting on the homestudy agency so that we can move forward. If we had just done that piece separately first I know I would be enjoying this experience more because you’d feel like you were just zooming thru it and getting your dossier turned in so quickly. So that’s my advice to you… before gathering any more dossier docs just pick and get started with a homestudy agency. That also will allow you to start doing something while also continuing to research agencies.
