You’re right in your comment regarding timing. Even 6 months ago I never could have imagined that we’d be moving forward like this with adoption. Suddenly everything has clicked into place. Finances make a BIG difference and I think doing the 2007 taxes honestly helped my husband feel like now was an ok time for us to pursue this. It shouldn’t be about $$$ yet you cannot do it without some so that’s what has propelled our journey. Still, I feel like we have such a l-o-n-g road ahead.
