thank you for sharing your most poignant, inspiring and private feelings and thoughts with the rest of the world!
Your honesty and feelings are provoking and moving and really made me think how helpful to have a forum for complete strangers to support and bond over a common interest.
I am moved. YOu speak with conviction, strength, determination and with a respect to this child you have yet to meet, but somehow have already connected to through energy and some cosmic force much larger than you.
I believe your child has already been chosed or should i say he has already chosen to come to you. you are living, “as if” it has already happened! a true sign you have made a mature and educated decision.
i especially loved the last entry. Your husband is supportive and on board!
soon you will merge these 2 families, with different cultures, backgrounds and circumstances, but united with one common theme…love.
no only should we celebrate the life that will soon be welcomed into your family, but for the people who are open minded–open hearted enough to see that blood line doesn’t necessarily bond a family. Congratulations on staying the course, not being swayed by obstacles or opposing views/opinions, but rather listening to them and accepting that what may work for you, may not work for others and that is ok too.
Think of how enriched your family will be to welcome another person into the home! how blessed your children will be to see first-hand how important it is to open your heart, home and mind. Not through words or rhetoric, but through your actions!
the gift is truly in the giving..not in the saying..you are doing you are setting an example for your kids and all the people who you affect in your inner circle and out!
you are creating and building a wonderful, strong foundation for your children. when they become adults they will be proud to have learned such a life lesson.
’07 has been a formidable year for you, and i have to believe that ’08 will be where the seeds you planted will be sown.
i am honored to come on this journey with you and look forward to seeing you realize your dream. i wish you much success, support and guidance.

I have so enjoyed your blog so far…. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself and all your wonderful feelings. I find myself thinking about you alot during the day. It is 3 months ago that I stepped off the plane in my sons birth counrty. A day to remember forever. So much has happened in the last 3 months, it feels like a lifetime ago that I met Henry. Everyday I thank God for putting us together. I feel in my heart and soul your child is in Kaz waiting to be in your loving arms. Keep writing, it will help you reach your dreams.
Best,
Carolyn
